This slick-looking WiiWare game has potential |

“Last Flight isn’t a serious action adventure game with a troubled character on his quest to redemption,” says producer Marcin Kawa. ” It’s a parody laughing at all those games. It’s a game that makes fun of all this nonsense found in other so-called serious games. You won’t find anything like that on WiiWare or other consoles.”
It also looks good. Release date and pricing TBA. Rated Mature.

If you are familiar with dungeon crawling games and the various dangerous F.O.E.’s waiting to get you, and by F.O.E.’s I mean all manner of creatures, creepy crawlies, and monsters await you on and beneath and above the water off the coast of Armoroad.
Any adventurer knows they will need to be prepare and spend a lot of time battling to gain experience and perfect the “Combat System”, and we all know once you do that, you’ll enjoy beating the sea foam out of everything.
So here’s a quick digest video sent by the Atlus team to help you get prepared for Etrian Odyseey III, in case you’ve never played any of the titles in this great series.

Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011 is about more than just shooting animals

Shake off that sense of deja vu. We’re talking about a different Cabela’s game here: Activision has just announced Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011, the next installment in its iterative series of hunt-em-down-and-shoot-em-ups. It’s set to stalk retail shelves “late fall” and will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and DS systems. Every version sans the DS installment will come packed with the Top Shot Elite controller, a wireless gun peripheral created by the same people at Activision who brought you the Guitar Hero controllers.
Activision is apparently putting a lot of production value into this latest Cabela’s title, tapping Brad Santos, screenwriter and creative director, to pen the tale of Cole Rainsford, who has joined his estranged father in the African safari to hunt dangerous animals terrorizing local villages there. See, kids? Hunting is a noble pursuit.
Feel free to track some screens from the upcoming game (and the [...]

The only way you will ever hear me say that a “movie mode” in Metroid Other M is a “good idea” is if Team Ninja has also installed an option that allows me to play the game without any cutscenes or cheesy voice acting whatsoever.
Unbelievable. I mean, really, really unbelievable.
An August release date make total sense now. This game is forgotten by Christmas.
I’m angry because I care, fellas. To all the usual suspects: Relax. Image: Kotaku
