ritz has released a new version of his demo of his homebrew 3D RPG for the Nintendo DS. Fandian is unique as it uses a custom 3D engine and graphics from Neverwinter Nights. This demo has to be played to get the grasp of how well the 3D engine works. Although, your view distance isn’t too great it features fantasic and smooth gameplay. When this game is done it’ll be one hell of a homebrew to show off to your friends.

ScummVM DS v0.13.1 (Beta 3) Released |

AgentQ has released a new beta version of his port of ScummVM a game interpreting engine for the Nintendo DS.

Copper has released a new version of his multiple arcade game emulator for the Nintendo DS. DS Pack will allow you to play a lot of Pacman based games on your Nintendo DS given you own the original arcade machine(s) and have the ROM file(s) for it.

Currently everyone with a Wii and the TP hack should be familiar with the Homebrew Channel. So when the DSi was released of course everyone dreamed of the same thing for it as well. This is not an announcement of it’s release, but more of a “it’s being worked on” post. I don’t want to get your hopes up, because so far nothing has been released, but I have a good feeling about.

Acekard 2i DSi Flash Cart Reviews |

There are currently only a few flash carts available for the DSi. One of the first ones is the Acekard 2i which is a modified version of the Acekard 2 for the DS and DSL. It will work with the past models of the DS, but if you’re not looking to upgrade to the DSi then there are cheaper alternatives since the Acekard 2i is currently priced more than the Acekard 2 and other DS and DSL compatible flash carts.
